The hui is an opportunity for Council to provide updates on the projects underway in Te Ārai, answer questions previously raised by the community, discuss proposed options for willow management and flood planning, and how engagement can continue going forward. A written summary of the projects will be provided on the day.
The hui is also an opportunity to discuss how community, hapū and landowner input can continue to help shape the implementation and future direction of work across the catchment.
We would appreciate you sharing this invitation with your networks and anyone who may be interested in attending.
